Case Mix & Subspecialties
Our case mix spans general diagnostic radiology including CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. Volume and complexity vary by shift type, and you can indicate subspecialty preferences during onboarding.

Compensation & Benefits

Rapid Radiology positions are contract roles and include malpractice insurance with tail coverage. You'll also have 24/7 support from our IT, QA, and credentialing teams. CME allowances are not provided.
Licensure, Credentialing & Eligibility
No — we only hire radiologists with active U.S. state licensure due to credentialing, malpractice, and regulatory requirements.
Expect 30 days or less depending on facility committees, payer enrollment, and state board processing. Our credentialing team manages the process end-to-end and keeps you informed at every step.
You'll need an active, unrestricted medical license in the state(s) where you'll be reading. Multi-state licensure expands your case opportunities significantly.
Yes. Our credentialing team provides guidance and support throughout the licensing process, including FCVS applications, state board submissions, and expedited processing when available.
Onboarding & Training
Onboarding includes PACS training, workflow orientation, IT setup, and an introduction to our operations team. We pair you with a mentor during your first few weeks to ensure a smooth transition into reading cases.
Policies & Hiring Process

The process typically takes 30–60 days, depending on how quickly you're able to submit required credentials and documentation, as well as state and facility-specific requirements.

Dual diagnostic-grade monitors, a high-quality microphone, and wired broadband (≥100 Mbps down / ≥20 Mbps up). A secure, dedicated workspace is strongly recommended.

Work Model & Scheduling
Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts are available. Shift lengths and patterns vary by facility and can be tailored to your preferences during scheduling discussions.
